Here are my recent works.
Arboreal robotics R&D and consulting.
Respira had a working desktop laughing-gas detector and a portable mockup. I made the portable unit: electronics, battery, firmware. UK police used it in the field.
Motion sensing on a rehab glove, small enough to wear, plus AI camera tracking of hand landmarks for physiotherapy.
Sensor systems for mycelium water filtration: firmware, telecom, and cloud data from the hardware.
A spider robot prototype, designed, built, and tested in a couple of weeks. Waterproof enclosures for outdoor battery-powered sensors. Supervised mechanical engineering theses with VU Amsterdam and University of Twente.
VU Demonstrator Lab. Machines, tools, and helping startups and students actually build the thing.
I held a lecture on evolutionary prototyping, as part of rapid prototyping for innovative product design, BSc Mechanical Engineering. Prototypes and MVPs for startups, or new products in general.
Thermo-hydraulic system design and software. Hardware and heating shop started by my grandfather, run by my father. I grew up there.
